Vegas 5.0, Creative Live 5.1 card.

Surround is working from the card, the sub is pumping when I play mp3s.

In Vegas, the LFE meter is jumping, but there is no sound coming out the sub. The other 5 channels all work correctly.

Any ideas guys?

I'm off to bed, but I'll be sure and check in the morning, so any help is appreciated.

It may well be that the Creative card, or your sub mux the stereo signal with the R/L information. A lot of consumer gear does this.
The .1 represents the approximate 10% of the audio signal that the sub carries.

Now i heard a different story, because the LFE channel carries only low frequencies it can be sampled at 10% of the rate of the other channels.

Either way how does that gel with 6.2?
