I just saw this on the Euphonix site. It looks like Vegas Pro is playing with the big boys now! Now how do I convince my boss that I need a $30,000 control surface? I can't justify it, but it's nice to dream.

I wonder how many Euphonix users requested Vegas support?

I use Nuendo 3, Vegas and Wavelab. For what I do Vegas is the fastest and most flexible. Plus with it's ability to use Wavelab as the wav editor I have incrdible precision at hand.

well considering MANY studios i know have started to use vegas instead of ProTools, it seems to only be a natural progression for audio production

When I was in the SSL booth at this year's NAB, they were using a number of Vegas systems to feed multitrack audio to their incredibly expensive audio mixers.

That is news to me, but I'm not supprised. What studios are using Vegas for audio? I have not met a songle person who uses Vegas, many have never even heard of it.

We have been using it for about 7 years. We changed over from analog to digital and attempted to use sonic solutions, in fact we had spent $70,000 to do that, but we never got it to work.

We were between CoolEdit Pro and the Beta version of Vegas audio. Fortunatly Vegas was released in time to use it for our radio broadcast.

Last year I asked our radio editor how many times Vegas has crashed in the 6 or so years he had been using it. He couldn't recall a single crash! He is still on Vegas Audio 2 and loves it.
