For those looking for instructional DVD's as a means of learning Vegas, I just recieved the subject 5-DVD set from Gary Kleiner. I have had this set pre-ordered since the end of March. I have purchased Gary Kleiner's Vegas instructional DVD's previously, and I have never been disappointed. The Vegas 6 Companion set is no exception. This is a very well thought out and comprehensive overview of the features in Vegas 6. So far I have only watched in its entirety the first DVD, but I was very impressed with the quality of the material on this DVD. When I first purchased Vegas 6 back in April, I gave up rather quickly on Media Manager, but after watching Gary's excellent presentation on the features of Media Manager and how to use them, I enabled Media Manager again in Vegas 6 and I now find it to be a very powerful tool indeed. That is just one example of an area in which these DVD's have been helpful to me.
