Think I found a bug?

I don't know, if this is a bug or a feature? If it's a feature, it's not working for me. Today I was editing together a CD project, where I needed to determine the length's of the events. So I was working with the Time display set to "Time". At the beginning of the event I would set the Time to "0", therefore when I went to the end of the event it would automatically calculate the length of the event. This was working out well for me, except when I added a Track Marker. As soon as I added the track marker Vegas assumes that I must want to see the "Audio CD time", and automatically switches for me. NOPE...not what I wanted, and forced me to keep having to go back and change back to the "TIME", Time format. I guess it's unfortunate for me that I know, how to change the time format to work in "My prefered" time format and Vegas has been dumbed down for new users to automatically change for them when assembling CD projects? So is this a bug....or just a feature for new users?

Yeah, I noticed that too. Sure was annoying to HAVE to go back & change it after I added a track ID (like you said).

BTW - I've found another bug: Sometimes, when I click on an open space on a track (where there is no event), the wave view will adjust it's magnification by one level - I believe it zooms OUT - and the cursor stays where it was before. In other words, I am trying to click on a certain spot on the wave view to relocate the cursor, but instead, the cursor stays where it is and the view zooms out one level for me.

Now, isn't that nice!?

Not a bug, just a bogus feature. The next Vegas update will not auto-switch to CD time like it does now. We thought it would be helpful, but nobody seems to like this behavior.

Jeff, I had that same problem you just mentioned. I thought there might have been something I was doing wrong, but it was exactly how you described it. There was a blank space between events and I was zoomed in a little...sorry don't know the exact zoom, but my cursor wouldn't move where I clicked between the 2 events. I ended up zooming out and clicking on the previous event to get the cursor to move.

Do you guys have quantize to frames ON? This needs to be on when editing video but you can turn it off and forget about it if you are doing audio only.
