This Forum is buggy

This forum is buggy, and the bug increases the Internet congestion. Whenever I want to see if there are any new messages, I reload the forum. It loads every topic in bold, as if every single topic contained a new message. So, I have to reload it a second time in a row and only then does it return showing updated topics in bold and non-updated topics in normal.

This is very frustrating, not to mention that anyone who pays for their Internet based on how much data is transmitted has to make a choice between wasting their money or coming to the forum.

I'm not having this problem so it appears something to do with your system. I don't know if the forum keeps details of your viewing history on its server or on your system in a cookie. I sometimes find when clearing cookies that some forums I visit have everything reset to not having been viewed.

Edit: I've just checked on my phone as well as this desktop and on my phone it is working correctly with only unread items in bold. So that means the forum is keeping the record of what's been read and not your system. Strange that you are having problems so let's see if anyone else is having the same experience.

I use the Opera browser. Most likely the style sheet is non-standard and people only test it in MS browsers and Firefox and such. Opera is the most standard-following browser in existence (and has been around for a long time), but for some strange reason many people are unaware of its existence.

That probably explains it as I use Firefox on my desktop, and my phone is Android with Chrome.
