This is how Motion Tracker & Beziere Mask should work in VEGAS Pro

I make this cosmetic edit how VEGAS Pro should handle custom beziere mask shapes and send it for motion tracking.

It is proven that custom mask shapes provide more accurate tracking results. VP18 is kinda downgraded from VP17 as u cant send the tracking data of custom mask shapes to PiP (replacing object in VP18 is impossible now, possible in VP17)

This is just general idea how it should work. I haven't think of how to resize/reshape the tracking (Both Motion Tracking Panel Mask region & Custom Beziere Mask Shapes). Because it will jitter the tracking data if u make changes to the shapes. It doesnt "flow" or comform to changes u make.

Davinci Resolves comform the mask if u make any adjustments and it wont destruct the tracking.

I would agree. And if the masking tools throughout VP could be made a little more intelligent as well:

* Auto edge detecting - like photoshop and others now provide

* For each point in a mask to auto track - instead of having to manually edit frame by frame to move mask points.

I feel sorry for Movie Studio users as there is only the fixed shape masking fx - or was when I last used it.
