This is weird..

I just finished a first draft of a family video and printed to back to DV tape. Worked great. When I played it back on my TV, I noticed that there were three points in the video where a portion of a clip replayed itself. To verify that I wasn't losing my mind, my wife noticed it also.

Two of the clips had a velocity envelope added (250%). The other one was just a plain clip with no effects.

Has anyone run into this before? Any ideas?

Sounds like you made a clip longer than it really is. You extended a speeded up clip past the end of the clip which made it restart from the beginning. There is a slight "notch" in the clip when the length is reached to help avoid this problem.
