This is why I came back to Vegas 7

OK, I hope I can explain my self, I have a clip about 5 minutes long, using Premier CS3 I used fast color correction, on the preview monitor it looks good, I did a frame export looks good, then I exported it to MPG, and tried DV AVI uncompressed, both the same results. on the exported clip. The clip look like is has a gray tint has gone over my video ?
Hmm I thought, opened sony vegas 7 , used color correction to same as the frame that I had previously exported from Premiere, exported the clip MPG and it looks as good as the frame.
But when I export with Premier I get like a gray overlay over the clip.

Just one more reason to come back, Now for the big question, Do I upgrade to Vegas 8 or stay with 7 ?

Well you have a month to decide that, and then the decision will cost you more after that. Since you ahve 7, get the upgrade, and run both in tandem until whatever is holding you back from getting 8 is fixed.

I seem to recall this being a fairly hot topic not so long ago.
More along the lines of 'how do I get Vegas to do it correctly?'
Probably at the moment you might be getting it wrong in both applications.

Bob.
