This may be a dumb question but I'd appreciate some help....
Is it possible, using Video Vegas 2.0, to make a Real Media
file target a frame using commands. I can get a .asf file
to target a specific frame using pagename.html&&framename,
but this does not seem to work in RealPlayer, it just
brings up a new browser window without the correct page.

Any advice would be helpful.

Cheers

you can check out some of the metadata examples here:

I've looked at these pages on your site - that is where i
got the syntax for the parameter from - however, they just
don't work in my version of VV2.0 - no matter what I try,
the video tries to force a new browser open, rather than
open the url in a specific frame. Does real player
definitely support this kind of metadata?

It does, but the code may be different than WM. Maybe try
REAL.com- they have pretty extensive metadata info online...
