that video's great (I think someone else posted it too).
I feel, to balance things out, there should be another video where the client's good, willing to pay, but the person performing the service makes excuses why it's not as expected. IE "my scissors just broke, can you come back in a few days so I can finish the haircut". "yeah, this DVD IS ~20 more expensive then the competition, but we offer better support after purchase, even though we don't allow returns, refunds or exchanges". Etc. :)
That's pretty funny. While not with video I have ran across these ppl while doing lighting. Their band wants stage lighting using $50K of gear but only want to pay 50 bucks per night. (One lamp goes out and I lose money)
Like one of the posters there mentioned charging for haggling. Perhaps that could be a line item on the original job quote and price list.
Haggling Fees............$150 per hr. 1 hr min + $37.50 for each additional 15 minutes.
But I guess that would be something they haven't budgeted for though. ;)
