Assuming that you have dragged the title onto the menu page to create a 'play all' button, right click on that and choose Insert Scene Selection Menu.

The menu thumbnails default to the first frame of the chapter. So if your scene starts in black, you will get a black thumbnail.

Position your cursor on the frame you wish to use, right-click on the link, and "Set thumbnail from selection."

That's odd; on my system (DVDAS 5) the thumbnails show the frame at the chapter position.

That's what I meant. The thumbnail shows the first frame at the chapter/scene marker, and you can change the thumbnail to another frame if you wish. Is this option not present in the Studio version?

Yes it is. I misread your earlier post.

Even in the Studio version, you can change which frame is displayed in the thumbnail.

As I indicate in my book, when you select the thumbnail, Button Properties will display in the Properties panel to the right.

Go to the Media page and change the Start Time for the Thumbnail Media property.
