Thumbnailframesproblem

I have been working with DVDA half a year now.
The only thumbnailframe I use is the default one
(last frame in the second row with orange border).
Why?
Its the only frame showing the whole picture, at least in my DVDA program.
All the other frames, even those that seems to have the same measures as
the default frame are zoomed and cut, especially horisontally.
Probably I´m doing wrong somehow.
Is there a way to get the whole thumbnailpicture with other frames than the default one ?
I´m getting tired of that orange border!

Another try.
I often go to this forum and have really learnt a lot from you all.
I´ve also noticed that questions with no answers mostly are of 2 kinds.
1 Questions which easely can be answered if you read the manual or search the forum.
2 Questions of a silly kind or questions asked in a rud manner.

I´ve read the manual and searched the forum on this matter "editing frames" but I didn´t find an explanation to my problem.
Maybe my question is silly but I certainly have great respect for this forum.
Perhaps my question needs more defenition?
Project properties are set to PAL 4:3
In object properties you can choose - enable frame/show frames from:
If I choose lets say “album” there is only one frame and with a certain vertical and horisontal length but when brought into the menu it becomes almost quadratic – only the center part of the thumbnailpicture is there but both sides of the thumbnail are cut off.
The measures of all the fullpicture choosable frames is in the same way horisontally diminished when they come into the menu.
There is one frame though called "default" that has the same vertical and horisontal look in the object property - as in the meny window.
Could this be a PAL 4:3 problem too (see question “Annoying bug with the highlight on some DVD players” by Lucius Snow

Another thing about highlighting
In DVDA preview window there is no highlighting of thumbnails when hoovering over with the mouse – clicking though starts the video as it should.
Also a PAL 4:3 problem ?

Don't use frames.

Or create your own frames.

If the frames that are available don't work for you (or you don't like them) - don't use them.

As for hovering your mouse over an item and it not highlighting - what is it you are trying to do with DVDA? Create a website? No. You are creating DVDs.

When was the last time you have a hover mouse on your TV Top DVD Player? Uhm.....never. You use your remote control and select the item (up, down, right, left) you want to play/select. Then you hit enter to play/select it.

In DVDA you can change how the highlight is going to show up (different color, highlight the text, highlight the image, etc) - but...with the exception of playing a DVD on your PC...you don't use a mouse.

And even when you use your PC to play the DVD, it really doesn't hover highlight. That is more of a web enabled function.
