Thunderbolt

I am trying to capture with my new computer which has a Thunderbolt, HDMI and a USB 3 connection. Why cant Vegas reconize my Thunderbolt. I'm looking all over the internet but can't find nothing.

Vegas only captures from Firewire. Sorry.

Thanks, Looks like Adobe Premiere works with XHA1 but can it work from Firewire to Thunderbolt. Theres not much info out there on Thunderbolt

I doubt it. HDV and firewire and somewhat non exclusive. If you need to transfer footage from a HDV camera you will need a Firewire port, such cards are rather inexpensive and easy to get.

If you had a Mac, Apple makes a Thunderbolt to Firewire adapter. I have no idea if it will work on a PC.

As OldSmoke recommended, just get yourself a Firewire PCI card for your PC.
