Have a filter made in PS.
A transparent filter, B & W.
How do I deal with it on the Vegas Pro 9 timeline?

Not sure about TIFF with ALPHA in Vegas.

I've had some really nice results with PSD.

Dan: You need to "Right Click", properties, then click on the media tab and for TIFF you must selct "Premultiplied" on the "Alpha channel on the drop down box (depending on how it was generated. TIFF work just as well as PNG files.
