Do they match at 00:00:00?

What does it looks like if you apply the Timecode FX as Track FX instead of as Event FX?

Edit:
Are you sure your source video is 24 fps and not 23,976 fps?

@Former user they do match at 00:00:00:00

@Marco. The video itself is completely untouched, I only uploaded it to Vegas because our animator doesn't know how to add time code. I've added it as a track effect, now they're phasing in and out of time.

@Marco. Just gave 23.976 a try, its even less synced.

I'm guessing you realise TC FX is Event-specific, meaning that the TC FX does not relate to the overal Project TC.

Both @Former user & @Marco. are correct.

I can repro your results:

@da_ramos Could you post the source video property according to MediaInfo?

da_ramos wrote on 3/26/2018, 3:58 PM

@Grazie All files were starting from 00, Just figured it out though, I had a midi drum-machine plugged in and it was receiving time-code from that for some reason.

O...K... Back to basics then:

1] Project Settings

2] MediaInfo

3] Have you Matched Project Settings to your Media?

4] Quantize ON or OFF?
