I'm trying to insert some time at the beginning of a project. I read the posts about just using the Time Insert function, but am having problems with it. I've selected all the tracks, put the cursur at the beginning of the time line, and tried to insert 5 seconds. It puts the time in but then the tracks are off synch. Seems that it pushes some back and not others, even though all are selected. I've also read you can select 'none' of the tracks, but how do you do that? Also, could it be that I've locked or grouped some of the tracks and that's causing the problem? Is there a simple way to clear them if necessary?

Thanks for your help. Other than this problem, I've really enjoyed VV3. After going numb reading hardware compatibility problems with the likes of Premiere, Matrox, etc trying to get real time editing, VV3 has worked perfectly straight out of the box on my HP.
