Time Lapse images

I have about 450 jpegs of a time lapse sequence that I am attempting to squeeze into a short mpeg or avi.

By serendipity, I found the slide timing under edit options. It worked once, but with a new series of jpegs and an upgrade to v 9.0, it is inserting blank black frames into my sequence. I have the timeing set to 0.04/slide but it is extremely ragged and not smooth like my last series.

Any help would be appreciated...the learning curve on this product is extremely steep and the documentation extremely skimpy.

Hopefully they are named sequentially. If so, go to File | Import | Media... and select the first filename. Then check the box at the bottom of the window that says: Open still image sequence. In the next Window make sure you set the proper frame rate before pressing OK. That should make a video out of your images that you can save or just use in the project.
