Time Lapse issue

Movie studio 14 bld 122

I have several groups of still images shot with different cameras that I want to use in a time lapse finished product. The first group was shot with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro at 1920 by 1080. When I start the project and bring the Media into the project, I click on the first image and several items open up asking for input. Such as first image, last image and start sequence. I have used this method several times and it works great. However, I now have a group of images that were shot with another camera and when I try to add this group to the Media folder, none of the items open asking for input even though the images are in numbered sequence. What I would like to know is just what the system is looking for to make the decision to allow the sequence function to occur?

Thanks for reading..KentM

I think the file type must be one that is accepted as supported filetype.
I did a short test with a few pictures that were in numbered sequence.
When I changed the extension of some to a filetype that is not supported, this function does not show those files.
So what extension does your problem files have?

All of the files have the .JPG extension. I have uploaded two screenshots from the properties of the two files. The difference I see is in the dpi.

"none of the items open asking for input even though the images are in numbered sequence."

Could you also show a screenshot of the folder where the files are in so we could see the naming format of the files?

Here are the two shots of the naming sequences

working folder

nonwork folder

these started out like this: _DSC0719.JPG (date) .JPG 13,293

they were reduced to the 1152x768 with "fotosizer" and then further renamed with the "Bulk Rename Utility" to the current names 719.JPG

It looks like there is an empty space between the number and the file type. Maybe this causes the issue. At least when I try to repro using two folders with identical grafic files and identical naming except of in one folder I use an empty space between number and file type, I get same result. The empty space prevents the sequence from being recognized.

Sir, You have a very sharp eye and a correct one at that! Indeed, the problem was the extra space in the filename. I had used the Bulk Renaming Utility to convert the names and now I will have to figure out what I did wrong there. Thanks again for taking a look at my dilemma.
