Time Stretching Music Videos

Can any one help with an easier way to time stretch music videos and keep the audio and video in-sync? With in 'time stretch''plug-in' I use 'tempo' under 'input format'. I change the tempo to what i need and the result makes the audio and video become out of sync. I've tried to stretch the video to match, but it's still guess work. Is there an easier way?

I have shot two music videos for two local rock bands. Basically, if you already shot the videos with the singers lipsyncing the song in 100% speed, then you can't do timestretch the way professional music videos look like. You are supposed to shoot the music video with the audio playing faster and then slow the video to match the audio. I detail how I did it in the following articles:
