When I look in the Edit Detail Window for the clip start time I noticed that the timecode at the beginning of the timeline is added to it.
In other words if the timeline window starts and 58.50.00 and the media clip starts with 00.00.00.00 then 58.50.00 is displayed as clip start time.
That is confusing to me and doesn't seem to make any sense at all.
That raises another question:
How can I view the current clip (source) timecode?
In other words I need to know the actual position in the source at the current cursor position.
The only way I found is to split the file - look up the start time in the detail window - and then undo the split. That would work if there wasn't this strange bug, giving me the wrong numbers.
Could somebody shed some light on this?
thanks much
George
