Timecode-faking a security cam

I have this shot that I want to make b&w and place the time code on it but I want the timecode to reflect the time that my scene is. For example, I used scenalyzer to capture 1 of every 3 frames to give it a choppy feel that most security cams have and I want the time (15:36) to be displayed counting up like you would see on most security cam tapes. How can I do this? The timecode.

I did this on a project by keyframing a text overlay. Easy. I did a project that is on that Sundance Media site that shows demonstrates text keyframing (I didn't think of it -- I just applied the idea). That project has a layer that will give your video a sutble TV look; it's much less harsh than the TV simulator FX. The project is called Terminal Text.

Insert a regular timecode effect on the clip in the media pool, then bring up the clip's properties, click on the Media tab, select Use custome timecoed, and enter any start time you want.
