Timecode Valid Offset Error

Lennis-Scheline wrote on 8/21/2021, 5:40 PM

I recently updated Vegas Pro to 19 from 18. Through the past few iterations of Vegas, I have not been able to sync audio and video files using embedded timecode and 19 has not corrected the issue. I am using Windows 10 Pro and I continue to get a message saying, "Some media did not have valid offset information and were skipped." I am using cameras ranging from GoPro to Z-Cam E2 (with Ninja V) and E1 with a variety of Zoom audio recorders (H3-VR, F6, and F8n). Is there a workaround to allow syncing by timecode? I can use Plural Eyes but there are situations where that is not feasible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

With the latest update to Vegas Pro 19 (November 2021), the sync-by-timecode offset issue still is not corrected. I hope that a fix is found soon or the Vegas ecosystem will become unusable for my purposes. Thank you for your help.

@Lennis-Scheline  Can you upload some of your media exhibiting this issue? We will investigate.

I just installed the very latest Vegas Pro 19 (build 458) update and the timecode offset error continues to be displayed when syncing SMPTE timecode and files cannot be synced. Please address this error for it makes Vegas Pro unsuitable for any type of serious audio and video work. Thank you.
