timedisplacement effect

Does anybody know how this is done? Can it be done with VMS?

to properly do this you need custom code, I don't think it can be done with the standard tools.

The first one you could almost pull off in Video FX>Spherize, and about halfway through the clip went into Blur, so keyframe and copy & paste those keyframes again throughout your timeline.

I found out more about this, it is an effect that comes with After Effects. It takes pixels from the frame itself, the frames before that, and the frames that follow, following some complicated logarithm. Read more about it here .
