Hey guys, I'm new to this forum but not to Vegas. Been using it since version 7, but always on a desktop.
Long story short I'm on a laptop now and on the go. Running it on Surface Book 2 with touchscreen & trackpad - no mouse.
For me to scroll through the timeline HORIZONTALLY, I have to hold Shift + 2 finger scroll VERTICALLY on the trackpad. ANNOYING! Not to mention, incorrect prospectively.
To scroll VERTICALLY on the timeline, I have to hold Ctrl + 2 finger scroll VERTICALLY on the trackpad.
To zoom in the timeline, I have 2 finger scroll VERTICALLY on the trackpad.
Now if this doesn't sound horrific enough, imagine trying to edit with such controls.
My question is this: How can I change the trackpad controls? Is there a way? And if not, how can we get in touch with the developers to implement this:
Take full advantage of multi-touch trackpads. Not even getting into the touchscreen. The basics would be simple:
- Pinch to zoom on trackpad to zoom in and out of the timeline
- 2 finger scroll HORIZONTALLY or VERTICALLY to scroll through the timeline left/right or top/bottom.
This would feel correct and simplify the workflow by so much.
Any help would be appreciated!
