Timeline Scrubbing Behaviour Difference Between Movie Studio 16 & Pro

alderny wrote on 7/27/2019, 6:13 AM

I have just moved up from Movie Studio 16 to Pro 16, and find that I cannot scrub the timeline at any speed faster than play speed when using Pro 16. Whereas I could scrub along the timeline as fast as I waned in VMS 16. The attached video shows the difference. Is this normal behaviour for Pro 16? I can't find a setting that will alter this.

Used Vegas Pro since about version 14

Vegas Pro 22 (VP20 also installed)

Win 11 Home 64 bit, always updated

Intel Core i5 13400F, 10 cores/16 threads

32GB DDR5 RAM, 5200

Intel Arc A750 Graphics card

MSI Pro B760M-A Motherboard

If you grab the white arrow head it is as you are playing, grab the line part and you can move as fast as you want.

Thank you, the answer is so simple! Therefore, the timeline scrubbing behaviour is different between VMS16 & VP16.
