Tip of the day

I just found a neat feature and thought it would be nice to share it.

When you open an effect window, audio or video, place your cursor at the edge of the window (the cursor will morph into an horizontal double arrow) and double click. The effect window will resize to contain only the parameters contained in the window. I use it all the time now ;)

Yer wanna try it on the main Preview Window too! - It's gotta be a Windoze thingy . . .

Hmmm quite sexy on the preview window ;)

The first time you doubleclick it'll make the preview big and the second time it'll make it small. Wonderful !

Very nice!

Now, can anyone tell me how to make the dialog disappear automatically when I click on the timeline? Videofactory/Screenblast has this feature and it is a real time saver.

Works on the title bar as well, which is easier to hit when you're impaired. Tired or caffeinated, I mean.

Yeah, it seems to work on all edges, as well as the title bar.

I noticed it works on the Timeline to make the left part (titles, volume settings, etc...) when you click on the separation (vertical) line between them, so you just get the timeline itself. But never noticed it for the Fx windows... great! : )
