Title Card Help (Media Generators)

How would I go about creating a title card that has text of two different colors. So far as I can tell, I'd have to create two different text events and place them on two different tracks (one right above the other) to acheive the effect I want.

Is this the only way?

That is the easiest way in Vegas.
You may join the choir of complainers to that particular shortcoming in Vegas, or you may look on the other side and appreciate the order and control that comes from having separate text elements on separate events or tracks.

I can create a still image with whatever titles i want in a few seconds in most any graphic/photo editing program and import this into Vegas. Depending on the situation and your editing needs, this may or may not be easier. It's something to consider though.
