Hi, I'm using Vegas 17, (not the pro version) and are wanting to use pop up text banners to appear on the bottom left hand side of the screen when our video clips introduce our guest speakers. I believe they are called two thirds transparents. Are there any Vegas plug-ins that have these features compatible with Vegas 17? Cheers Grant
They are called 'Lower Thirds' and can be created in many image editors like PhotoShop, PaintShop Pro or any other that allows final rendering with transparency such as .png.
If you do a Google / Bing search, you will find heaps of hits re Lower Thirds as well as some websites that offer free Lower Thirds, or Shutterstock which offers advice about how to create them - which may be helpful:
