Short answer, no. Longer answer, the built-in titlling can be extremely powerful when used with the other abilities of Vegas. Plus, Vegas comes with a "lite" version of Boris Graffiti. There are other options also available such as Heroglyph and Cayman Graphics. Still others use standalones such as BluffTitler or Ulead Cool 3D.

Hmmm... I would have thought the short answer is YES since Vegas has a perfectly capable titler with keyframe automation, tracking, scaling, leading, kerning, position, shadow, outline, deformation and variable transparency. It also has a built-in credit roll. It may not be as fancy as what Adobe has but in the right hands, it is very powerful tool (especially when mixed with generated media as a fill).

That's basically what I said. It's extremely powerful in it's own right especially when added to the other abilities of Vegas. But it ISN'T like the one in Premiere. I didn't say it wasn't capable. Besides, it's the one I use for 99% of my titling! But for more capabilities, the others I mentioned DO offer more features.

Based on re-reading the first post, I agree that the short answer should have been "Yes", however, because it also mentioned "or any" which I missed on the first read.

Yea, I just didn’t want the poster to get the wrong idea that Vegas didn’t have a titler. I assume you’ve seen the titler in Premiere Pro (I have not) which is why your first reaction was that they were not the same. (got to wean those premiere pro users over to vegas!) ;-)
