I went ahead and purchased TP3 and just tried using it on a project. I created an empty event and did some basic text over two tracks of composted video. I did some fine tuning to the placement of various words (custom leading and kerning) but no movement. Twice now when I restarted Vegas the text is completely messed up including placement and even missing letters. I just wasted a couple hours of rendering because I did not check it before. Not very impressed. Back to Photoshop for now...
