Titler Pro plug-in not working with Vegas Pro 20

Seems that Titler Pro that's included in Movie Expansion Pack is not compatible with Vegas Pro 20 😭

Titler Pro "stand alone" still works just fine, but the plug-in in Vegas Pro is broken.

Anyone else experiencing this? And maybe have found a solution?

I have been installing and uninstalling Titler Pro several times, booting computer, trying to figure out Vegas settings, cleaning up in registry… Nothing helps 😡

@janndk, I don't know of any issues with it. What is happening? Have you contacted NewBlue support?

Connection is somehow broken. I can drag the mediagenerator to the timeline, but "Open Titler Pro" doesn't work.

No, I haven't contacted NewBlue or Vegas support yet. Thought I ask here first, as others might have had the same problem.

If you are talking about Titler Pro failing to open in Vegas 20 (giving only a white screen), yes. NewBlue is aware of the issue, but I would recommend contacting NewBlue FX about it and getting yourself a support ticket for it. The more of us there are awaiting a solution, the more impetus they have to figure the problem out. I am waiting for their solution myself.

Screen Captured video of the problem:

The good news is, Titler Pro does still work as a stand-alone. So, you can render titles to .MOV files for the time being if needed.

In my case Titler Pro is not opening at all in Vegas 20.

Title Pro Standalone is opening and working fine, and exporting mov-files. But Vegas Pro has problems using these files = black background (no transparency). Don't know if it is Titler Pro og Vegas Pro to blame?

Did you tell Vegas to use the alpha matte for that .mov file?

Wow - I wasn't aware of that. Thanks. It's working now! πŸ˜€πŸ‘

The files exported from Titler Pro are PNG Sequence MOV files with alpha channel. You can tell VEGAS to always turn on alpha for those files but you must set that if it hasn't been. Also, Quicktime must be installed and "turned on" in the preferences in order to use those files.
