Hello all,

I tried doing this once in Vegas Pro but haven't done it for a year or so now, so I remembered I followed a tutorial and I found it:



However, on following this I cannot seem to be able to do this in Pro 19.0 I found where the composite section was, so I have text above a video, I right click on the track where the text is, I choose 'More' then 'Compositing Mode' then I chose 'Multiply (Mask)' and then nothing happens, nothing has change at all, so when I right click and go to Compositing Mode again, I see that Source Alpha is still selected, it hasn't changed it at all. I tried the other modes but it's locked on Source Alpha it refuses to do any other mode.
I've tried it with the Titles and Text and the Legacy Text, both attempts it will not do any other compositing mode, so by using the tutorial video above, how do I do this in practice in Vegas 19?
