Titling - Revisited

Only recently there was a thread on titling and Vegas. I can't seem to find it now.
Basically, can anyone recommend something like TitleDeko that will work with Vegas?
Most of the time Vegas's own functionality is sufficient, but if I want a little more 'snap' with 3D and graduated colours, where do I go?

I had TitleDeko with both Premiere and Studio 7, but I've removed them now that I have Vegas :) I really don't want to schlep them back on the hard drive just for the occasional title.

If you're looking to do 3D text, Ulead Cool 3D is a decent app. It's not much good for anything but text and it does have limitations, but it's quick & dirty and can make nice 3D with lighting control, etc. It's cheap, too. I like to make 3D titles in Cool 3D and save them as animated .gifs with a transparent backround.

It might be easier for you to buy a standalone version of TitleDeko since you already know the program, though.

The thread was started by DR on 4/2/02. I tried and purchased Xara 3D4 and it is a quick and dirty program also, and gives very good results. Go to the opsting and read through the threads there.
