Make them big enough to fill the screen instead of only filling the title safe area.

I would like to do that but I don't have a clue on how.

Well, what did you do in order to keep everything within the title safe area? Whatever you did, don't do that. ;-)

The safe areas are meant as guides, only -- helpful hints so that, during the making of your video and your DVD, you keep all the important stuff where's reasonably safe from getting cut off by most television screens. It is best -- and expected -- that your video will extend outside these areas so that your content will fill the screen.

All I did was import my rendered AVI file into the DVDA program. Nothing else.
As I said when I view the AVI file in say Windows media it looks perfect.

Well...
Let me correct that.
In checking the WM play there is some black background that is probably being carried over to DVDA. Do I need to fix my problem in VMS?

Yes. The "black" you're seeing is not added by DVD Architect. Whatever you see in DVDA was already in your video before DVDA got ahold of it.

I think that is my problem! Thanks Rob. I can't tell you how many hours I have wasted trying to fix it in DVDA. I feel really stupid!
