EH? How do I force a bitrate. Presently it is telling me I can't burn 18.7gb as this is far too big? I kinda knew that . . . .

Anybody?

Grazie

I don't see a way to force a bitrate -- - There must BE a bitrate used --- seems like it is not something we get to change .. Very simple little interface -- not much choice .. Checked internal settings and don't see anything there..

It also doesn't even seem to keep a temporary file, so if you want to burn 2 discs.... unh!

I'm glad they brought this feature in, I was actually looking for this the other day and thought it was weird that you could do VCD and Blu-Ray but not DVD.

But right now it seems very rudimentary. But at least the DVDs work and look good to my eyes.

Yes, at least it would be nice to choose a premade preset f.ex. or even better customize bitrate and 'best fit'

Edit: Just filed a support ticket on this - will post when I get reply.

i was just asking myself the same question... where is the bitrate adjustment??

as i don't see any option, i was thinking it wold calculate and adjust... but after see the estimated 10gb filesize...

also, there's no option for render loop region only? custom presets don't show there... so... i can only do small dvd's?

so weird...

Got an answer (and very quick) from Sony:

Thank you for contacting Sony Creative Software. You cannot currently change the bit rate using the timeline direct to DVD feature. However, we are always open to your input and your suggestions. Please feel free to send a product suggestion request at the following link - it goes directly to the development team:

I will file a feature request.
