I've got a Sony Vaio (grx-670) with internal Toshiba SD-R6012 DVD-RW drive. When I try to burn the test project I get "Warning: an error occured while writing a file. Error 0x8004e0c8(message missing)." This error happens at the very start of burning.

This drive is using device drivers from Microsoft, nothing proprietary here. I don't understand why there are all these issues with drive compatability if the software has to talk to the hardware via an approved driver...
