Totally OT . .but I think funny . . .!

Just tried to print a spreadsheet to my HP LaserJet 1010 from MS WORKS . ..

Nothing! .. but just on the top most line on the "printed" out paper was the following:

"Unsupported Personality: PCL"

Huh! Ok it's official then? . . . But what is all that about?

My deskjet prints fine though. I do NOT understand computers.

Grazie

Funny, that'sd what was written on my divorce papers. Must've used a Laserjet to print those out also.

Mmm... better that than " take some pills and try again " , no ? : D

Grazie, simply put... your printer is filing for a divorce. In electronic parlance "Unsupported Personality" is the same thing as "irreconcilable differences." The "PCL" is an abbreviation for "please call lawyer." You're screwed!

Keep in mind that all these electronic devices can talk to each other, especially if you have broadband. There aren't any secrets any more in an Internet world. For some reason, my scanner is really pissed at me...

Ok . .. now I'm getting peed-off!

Save SS as a Works 2.0 WKS, no problem ..

Save as its own native Works 7 XLR and no good!

GGGGgrrrrrazie >:(

Grazie, my various ex-wives have told me:

"With a personality like yours, you don't need birth control."

By comparison, your printer was being diplomatic!

Next thing you know all your electronic devices will shut down until you enter a 10 digit code from your psychiatrist .

My ex-wife is very cordial. She still tells me she worships the ground I'll be in.
