Spot did a tutorial once (i saw it about a year ago) where he had done a shot of a woman sitting in front of a native indian rug. On that rug there was a symbol that could make modern western people think it was a swastica. The tutorial was about how they got rid of the symbol without messing up the shot. If it's still up, you should find it at COW.
Cue: because it was in the background (not moving) and because they'd used a tripod, they could make a still of the shot, retouch it and import it back. I've forgotten the details.

Newtek were giving away free copies of Aura DV at seminars and on cover discs not too long ago...basically version 1 of Aura tailored for DV...it has saved my butt on several occasions with flecks and stuff on my DV footage. Good luck if you can find a copy..
