Track "auto-naming"?!?

Is there a way to have the actual file name directly installed on the track when we select it from the vv3 explorer? I mean, we could change it later if we want but having it automatically written in the name box would be very usefull and time-saving, no?

Feel free to suggest this to Sonic Foundry as a product suggestion. However, one objection i can see is that many clips may be added to a track. Would the track only get the name of the first clip added? Would that name be meaningful for the other clips? Dunno, just my thoughts on the matter.

Maybe, yes, the name of the first track AND as soon as we rename it, this doesn't change anymore whatever clip we add afterwhile (?)...
OR simply add it as an option that we can "check" or not, depending on the project we're heading to...
