Track FX - is it always turned on?

When I record concerts, I usually do all I want to do with my audio file in Sound Forge. So it should be perfect when it's exported to Vegas. In Vegas, there are by default a chain of three Track FXs (compressor, EQ and another one I don't remember). My question is: Are they always active, so that my "perfect" audio file automatically will run through a new "enhancement" chain when imported into Vegas?

They are there by default, but they are all set to "null" and have no effect unless you alter them. If you want to get rid of them as defaults, open up the effect chain in any audio track, delete the three effects, then right-mouse-button click on the track header and select Set Default Track Properties. If you click the Track FX box when you do this, you will set the default track effects chain to contain no effects.
