track motion and keyframes

I'm just now discovering the wonderful world of track motion on V4, being somewhat of a newbie. In my zest, I have created a 9 element picture in picture "cube". In addition to this, I have the black "divider lines" to separate each of the picture elements, generating a total of 13 different tracks in which to use track motion. My question is this: I have noticed that after I have grouped this 9 element picture together and moved it around the timeline as one unit, that the keyframes I have developed are always left at the previous location. This is very time-consuming to have to readjust the keyframes each time I move that 9 picture cube. I know I'm probably not a model of editing efficiency, but there has got to be a better, easier way of doing this. Is there anyway, whatsoever, in V4, to keep the track motion keyframes synched to the pictures, so I don't have to readjust them each time I move my cube? Thanks for the help for this newbie!

Remember that Track Motion is related to a TRACK and not an EVENT. However, I've noticed that if I slide an event, the keyframes that are totally inside the boundries of that event also move if I slide it to a new location.

As an easier solution, you may want to just render it out and then replace it with the new AVI file. Build the "cube" as a separate project, render, and then use the end result in the main file. You can then move it anywhere without having to worry about keyframes.

THANKS JET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That solves my problem I was asking about the other week....copying keyframes. Why didn't I think of that. I can just re-place clips and render out each section I want......put them all together on a new timeline.....viola......copyed keyframes!!! I knew their had to be a better way than re-doing all the keyframes over and over and over.

Thanks......
