Track Motion Overlay/Text Problem

Using TM Overlay to acheive a text effect but it retains the effect and affects the track beneith even if I insert "default" - after the text - I want the TM track to not be affecting the track below it after the text is gone .... Tried several different parent/child combos with no apperant success.

Hmmm. WIthout more details it will be difficult to provide any advice. What effect(s), etc, are you trying to use, and what do you want to happen?
