tracks are all in different timings when played back...help

I am using vegas with MOTU 24I, I am recording my Tascam 24 track reel to reel into the 24 inputs of the MOTU 24I then onto Vegas. When I play the recording back the tracks seem to be recorded in different timings. I am using a Sony RX650 with a pentium 4 1.60ghz, 512 ddr and i have 80 gb also i am using windows xp. The sound card is MOTU PCI 324. The recordings on the individual tracks sound very good but the tracks are all out of sync, and they are all being taped at the same time. Please help me.

I do not know your audio card but try the following:

Make sure no other programs are running in the background.

Move the Display adapter acceleration to minimum.

Make sure your audio card drivers work with XP.

As a last resort move back to 98 SE

I had the same experience with live recording and a Delta 1010
and resorted to the last option with an older 1010 driver.
Do a Forum search on Delta 1010 in Vegas Video to read the history.
