Trademark Clip

Hey Guys, I know that there has been some talk about putting links to clips recently but this work is really innocent.

I have loaded it onto YouSendIt so I think the number of downloads is limited.

Trademark Video

It is a trademark clip for my company that will appear on all my work. Just want to know what you think or any pointer would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Simple, direct and to the point. It's fine because it'll hold up OK even if you have to use it scaled down or at low bandwidth. Although it didn't seem to playout too smoothly on this 500MHz PIII but if it's fine at you end ignore that.

Very clean and - mostly effective.
I'll qualify "mostly" (and bear in mind this is only my opinion); I liked the opening how it snapped into place with vigor and bounce. Then it (talking about the main logo, of course) kind of got a little dull for a moment. No snap, no pop, no ZING! (visually, not talking sound efx). Make the motions a little more crips and snappy and that would do much better for me.
Then, you let the logo fall out of view for a few seconds before it wipes to full purple. I like it coming full screen, but why not leave the logo fully readable for those few seconds - even at an extreme angle - just to give it maximum air time?
Still, overall, you've totally nailed the current flying logo craze right on the head. Looks very much like what you'd see on an MCI or Verizon spot or something where graphics are important. Good show!

The last two seconds spoil it for me. It seems to give the impression that it hangs or can't make up its mind what to do next. So either I would have left it keep flying off the screen towards the viewer and go to solid purple that way or once its flipped over let it go off screen in one fluid motion, just keep moving it left. This also is the kind of thing that may look nice with more 3D effect. More depth, maybe a beveled edge. Also maybe a little texture or a gradaition. That said, still nice look.

I agree with BB about the final few seconds; seems rythymically out of sync with everything up to that point and as he suggests, the logo seems to want to do a certain something, then quickly changes its mind.

I very much liked the fact that it had what I think of as an elegant simplicity to it---quick enough not to bore the crap out of the viewer and it very plainly told you what was what. No having to guess. No ambiguity.

The one thing I might have added (perhaps in place of the final few seconds) is your URL, assuming you have a website.

Nicely done. Be proud.

Thanks so much guys-I didn't expect such a response from such a small piece!! Thanks.

I have fixed the last two seconds, but what do you recommend I do with the logo when it is still for two seconds?

Thanks-Once I have finalised everything I'll load it up again if any of you want to take a look at the changes I made from your fantastic suggestions!
