The ADS is a good box, it's in the low-mid range end of the scale. If you're going to 3/4 broadcast, I'd be a little concerned. Been a while since I've worked with a 3/4, dang, that's a monster machine.
I'd be looking at a higher end, more controllable device such as the Convergent Design SD Connect. It's got a built in proc amp, a legal filter for NTSC colors, etc.

Checked out the Convergent and it looks like just the ticket...only problem IS the ticket...This thing is too pricey for me at this point....AND....I'm hoping that I can avoid the 3/4" stuff in the future. The issue is I've shot and edited a :30 commercial for cable broadcast. The cable company will only accept 3/4" or DVCPro. I don't have a DVCPro cam or deck, but I DO have access to a 3/4" machine (probably gonna need a forklift to move it). I shot the video on a Pana AG-DVC200 which uses the full size DV tapes. I have given these tapes to another cable provider that has a DVCPro deck and they used them with no problem. BUT the guys I'm dealing with this time absolutely refuse to put the DV tape in their DVCPro deck....soooo...it's the 3/4" thingy, for this one.

IF this is a one time thing, could you just get the DV transferred to DVC Pro at the other facility.
