Transferring edited audio back to Vegas timeline

You may notice that if you right click an audio event, you can have it open in Sound Forge 6 (If you have it)and you can then edit it. How can you get it back into VV4 in its original location automatically without having to copy/paste? Thanks in advance - tom

Just hit 'Save' in SF and it's there !

Ok, this did work but now I notice that it isn't quite in sync with the video. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance- tom

If you do any editing or filtering that effects the total time of the file, then you will also effect its sync relationship with the original video. If you want it to remain in sync, be careful what you do to it in Sound Forge.

All I did was to fade-in the sound event, didn't change the length any...Could I have created a fade-in within VV4? Thanks

A SF fade should not have broken synch. Yes you can in V4. Either with a fade or volume envelope. RTFM !
