Transition Script

Is there any script to do the following...

For the current selection, go through each transition. If the transition is a CrossFade then move events so that the transition length is a certain length (e.g 1 second).

Is there any way in Vegas, even without scripts to set the length of a transition?

Here's a couple of "similar" tools:

Gap Wizard in Excalibur will overlap all selected events by a set amount.

Overlap Wizard in Neon will overlap the selected event over the previous event by a set amount.
