Look into GL transitions, there's some already pre-installed in VEGAS, but you can add more (assuming you have version 19 or later) and they're free. I'm at a gig currently otherwise I'd offer you a tutorial on how to install them, but I'm sure there's plenty of them out there on google or youtube.

@Ruby888 Hi as @fr0sty says GL have a couple, I just downloaded your vid & cut out the black fade, then added GL Wind, that's a similar horizontal version of GL Pixelsort transition that is often used in fast moving TikTok type vids, . & Cross Zoom A/B can be set a little like a Crash Zoom that's used again on TikTok type vids

& Transitions are a 'transition' from one event to the next,

A Wipe which slides one event in from a direction, it covers or pushes the previous event out,

A Dissolve that fades one event into the other.

A Zoom that as it says zooms one in from the other or vice versa,

A fade through a colour, either a bright effect ofr dark as in your fade through black,

There's others & 3D effects but whichever you choose you can always add an Adjustment layer abov to add a bit of 'effect',

Here is Cross Effect as the main transition, with Rays on the top Adjustment track, keyframed to only happen durring the transition, (I tried loads of different fxs on the Adjustment track, colour, lens flare...)

More that one Adjustment track can be added. just duplicate the 1st Adjustment track & change the fx on it.. I added colour..

PS you don't have to Parent/Child them like i have in my pics, however Parent/Childing will isolate these effects to that group & not affect other tracks below not in that group if you have them.

Thanks guys, I tried a flash with a sound effect, made is shorter, does this work?

@Ruby888 Hi, I think it's a personal choice, some transitions represent something, like a clock wipe can represent time passing or has past, a wiggle is like moving to a dreamy or memory state of mind/place, a wipe would just be a 'move' to a different place, a fade through a colour can represent an end & then start to something new esp fade through black, a bit like how dawn & dusk works or a fade in at the start of a movie & a fade out at the end, & travelling like yours where you're sort of going into the future part of the journey you'd maybe use a zoom transition to give the effect of moving forward & to keep that motion feeling going, (I couldn't get Vegas Zoom to look quite right) But like i say it's personal choice, 😉👍
