transitions?

I was wanting to add a barndoor transition to my videos but i dont see any plus
the dvd i creat wont play on my pc with powerdvd or other programs but will play
on my home dvd players

hehe i was using a dvd rom i bought last year to play it, i put the dvd in my burner and it
plays fine.
