Whenever I want to do a slideshow using only digital photos, I always use a program called ProShow Gold. It's so much easier to use. You can have the program select your transitions, or you can manually choose from a huge selection of transitions. Very easy to add audio tracks too. I highly recommend it. I think the only place to purchase it is online through their company. Try typing ProShow Gold in Google.
